Edna Sahm is a slice of American history and the progression of society. She started out poor as a under-privileged and orphaned child. With the looks of a super star (and I think she still has them) she has become a first rate, world traveled and affluent philanthropist. She is affectionately known as the Queen of Escondido, California. Edna takes to philanthropy with the heart of a wife, mother, friend and humanitarian to enhance mankind: supporting the Arts, Women’s Shelters, and Interfaith Hospice. Edna will tell you she has been rich and poor…She likes to joke rich is better. Born March 6, 1917 you also might say that Edna is a walking history book.
