Show# 63 Christmas from the Cole Family and Hilda

Dr Marlene Amazing Women brains beauty style - Jennifer Liui Bryan and Hazel Cole Kendle

Jennifer Liu Bryan and Hazel Cole Kendle are the new Cole Family storytellers. As Hazel remembers their family’s storyteller was, Ruble, who passed down to her the tale of a very special family Christmas that took place when Hazel’s father was working as a coal miner and the family was living in the small town of Benham, Kentucky. She often wished that she had paid more attention when her parents told stories of their upbringing in the mountains of Appalachia, or when her brothers and sisters spun tales of their childhood adventures. Now, as the last of the nine children in the family, she shares as much as she can of those family tales with new generations of the Cole family, a time to remember of home, hearth and family; a special granddaughter, grandmother project to share with your family.
