Show# 65 From Media News Executive to Howdini

Dr Marlene Amazing Women brains beauty style - Shelly Lewis

Founder Shelley Lewis is an author, co-founder of the website Howdini.com, a wife, a mother and a daughter. She began her second career as a writer and website owner and she’s never regretted it for a minute, except at certain times when she misses that large salary she use to earn as a network executive. But she doesn’t miss the work. Shelley spent the first 25 years of her career in mainstream media as a producer and executive producer of news programs for NBC, ABC, and CNN. She was also a co-creator of Air America Radio, and served as vice president of programming for two years. She has her new book: 5 lessons I didn’t learn from breast cancer and the big one I did; a modern girl’s guide to breast cancer (she hates the word survivor), her ‘Tumor Sniffing’ Dog, Chester, and her new website Howdini! We will talk about it all.
